Why is TeraFlex HD steering better than OEM?

Strength • 50% stiffer drag link than factory to help eliminate front end shimmy and other alignment issues. • More than 200% stronger tie rod than factory. • Tie rod and drag link joints incorporate the same features found in TeraFlex Ball Joints, including 4140 chromoly ball/stud and 1045 carbon steel housing. • Features greaseable joints coated w/ magnesium phosphate • 1.25″ O.D. forged drag link. • 1-5/8″ O.D. tie rod made from 4140 heat treated chromoly steel.
Design • Moves factory steering stabilizer up nearly 2.5″ to help reduce damage to the stabilizer shaft or body. • Provides clearance for factory 17″ wheels.
Installation • Installation does not require any cutting or removal of factory bracketry • Bolt on design to replace OEM components. • Can be done with basic hand tools in 1-2 hours. • Alignment required after install. • The included Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket is NOT compatible w/ Falcon Nexus EF Steering Stabilizers — REQUIRES Falcon 1-5/8” Steering Stabilizer Tie Rod Clamp Kit (# 99-01-01-158) if you don’t already have the Falcon stabilizer with the 1 5/8″ mounting clamp..
